About the Course

This is a new exciting Photography Course designed and delivered by Steve Campbell BA RSA who has over twenty years experience in film and TV production.

The aim of this Level 2 course is to build on your previous knowledge and develop your skills. This is an up-to-date and massively comprehensive course covering every aspect of photography.

This course will be delivered over five weekends. The course will be supported by our new interactive on-line portal or virtual learning environment proving, pre course questionnaire, all course material, a photography wikis, forum and relevant links. The course is open to both film and digital SLR owners. 

What you will learn

• Use of your camera’s creative settings
• Understand camera functions – e.g autofocus and white balance
• Use of depth of field
• The nature of Colour and Light
• Controlling Exposure
• Use of flash - low light Photography
• Using Filters
• An introduction to Composition

How the Course will be delivered

This will be a very practical course so you will need your camera and any accessories you have. You will be shown specific camera functions e.g. use of all the creative settings, and given an opportunity to finalise yourself with them through class workshops. There will also be an opportunity to participant in a project and share your photographs with the group.
