What the Inbox1000W can do?

It's a portable 24VDC one box production unit designed for digital video assist playback. It uses InboxNetworks, a unique windows software package and provides single video stream capture to disc. It can playback two video streams simultaneously, record and playback simultaneously and manipulate images in mix/wipe formats, including X/Y zoom and chromakey. For film productions, the Inbox1000W can simulate film speeds from 1-250fps, provide animation and time lapse capture. The unit can also be GPI triggered for accurate synchronisation to motion controlled cameras.

The flexibility of the software allows for simple record playback to highly sophisticated special effect pre-visualisations giving you a one-stop solution with the full range of options for any production situation. It can produce a straight or chromakey mix allowing you to capture your moving backgrounds with live action to compose your final scene accurately.

In addition it can record and playback simultaneously allow you to build multi pass images in conjunction with motion-controlled cameras. The e-clip browser gives instant playback access to all recorded clips, can produce shot lists and continuity notes.

Bridging the gap between production and post the unit can save on production time and cost by taking the guesswork out of both film and HD special effects projects, mixing pre recorded shots with live action, instantly checking on previous shots for continuity, rehearsing camera moves and live action and providing an invaluable time saving production tool.
